Our founding team spent a combined 60+ years in the technology channel — as agents, as master agents, as carrier executives, and as business owners. We've seen the model from every angle. We know what works, what doesn't, and what's been deliberately kept from the people doing the actual work.
The traditional master agent model was built for a different era. It made sense when carrier relationships were scarce and technology was complex. But the channel has evolved. Carriers want more direct relationships. Customers want trusted advisors, not order-takers. And the best sales professionals in the industry are tired of building someone else's empire.
We spent three years designing OWNDbyU from the ground up — not as another master agent, but as a true business formation and support platform.
